INCREMENTS (UNLOCK THE NEXT LEVEL)

I have learned a lot in the last few years. I learned that people you thought would always be in your life tend to fade out. But not in a bad way, they just are there one minute and gone the next. They taught you what you needed to know and served their purpose. I learned that raw emotion is good when you're young, but doesn't fit when you have a toddler. Toddlers don't care that you want to do your art.

The biggest thing I have learned, is that in life, things happen in increments.

in·cre·ment
ˈiNGkrəmənt/
noun
plural noun: increments
1.
an increase or addition, especially one of a series on a fixed scale.
"the inmates' pay can escalate in five-cent increments to a maximum of 90 cents an hour"
synonyms:increaseadditionsupplementgainaugmentationaccretion,addendumMore
Or very small increments, and this is as it should be. The reason being, if I had the kind of life I had now when I was in my twenties I would not have been able to handle it. I would have screwed up my life and the lives of others. Everything has a balance, a flow you might say. The life you are living now may not be what you think you should be living, but it is! It is the one you are suppose to be living because any other life would not work at this moment in your time. You are not ready yet for what comes next. You have to live a little, experience this life right now, to become ready, and willing, for the things that life has in store for you. Your ideal life is coming, it is a slow process for a reason. If you need an example of people who did not live there life in increments, check out any tabloid the next time you are buying groceries.
There are no successful get rich quick schemes. You have to find a niche that you are passionate about and learn everything about that niche. If you want to be successful in life read about successful people.

It needs to happen in increments to make it right. Take it slow, learn, and make it right.

10 reasons to turn off your TV

Please stand by
1) Your life is clicking by you one second at a time. Those goals you had yesterday are still rattling around in your head today. You tell yourself all you need is time. Your missing time with your kids, friends, and loved ones and you still tell yourself you wish you had more time. You do. TURN OFF YOUR TV.

2) TV has always been a way to control the hearts and minds of the masses. The powers that be are using you. They look at you as a mindless consumer/voter/taxpayer. You watch your "Programs" while they program you. TURN OFF YOUR TV.

3) Life is about experiencing it. Your life. Not the lives of mindless idiots who air their dirty laundry for everyone to see, and who you feel you relate to. Lets hope you don't. TURN OFF YOUR TV.

4) The news is not informative, and it is not news. It is entertainment, it has always been entertainment, and it is fear based. The news would have you believe that everyone is out to get you, your family, your things, and your freedom... But the reality is the great majority of people are just like you. How could they not be like you! They have TV's and they are feed the same bullshit you are feed everyday. Most people want a little bit of peace and happiness. TURN OFF YOUR TV.
mush
5) Commercials are designed to hit on your emotion centers, and are fear based as well. Buy this crap and you'll be beautiful! Purchase this car and you'll be just like the Jones. You want to be like the Jones don't you? What they don't tell you is that the Jones don't exist and if they did, you would hear about how Mr and Mrs Jones got into a fight and are getting a divorce, and little Bobby Jones is crying himself to sleep at night. There is no competition between you or anyone. And if you think there is... You watch to much TV. TURN OFF YOUR TV.

6) You were not put on this planet to mindless stare at a box with moving pictures. Consuming and competing with the people around you. But TV tells you to drink the soda/beer, Cheer for this team, or hey did you hear who won on that dancing, or singing show (art is not a competition by the way). Your life is ticking by my friends. Turn the game off and actually throw the football with your kids. In the spirit of camaraderie, and physical fitness. But do it mainly just to spend time with the people you love. TURN OFF YOUR TV.

7) You learn very little from watching other people do things. You have to experience things up close and personal while doing them with an open mind. If you want to know how to live off the land, you have to be taught in person while you are doing it. You will not learn how to do that by watching a marathon of Survivor Man Reruns. TURN OFF YOUR TV.

8) "Well I watch TLC, or the History channel." Wanna know how screwed TV is? To actually watch quality shows on those two channels you have to pay for the premium TLC, and History channel. The regular old TLC plays Honey Boo Boo these days. TURN OFF YOUR TV.

9) TV lowers your attention span so much that the average person cannot stay focused for one damn minute these days. And it isn't good for your kids. Little Jimmy is not doing horrible in school because he is a genius and hes bored. Hes doing horrible in school because he watches to much TV (and plays to many damn video games, but that's a whole other blog post) and has the attention span of a jack rabbit on crack! Do little Jimmy a favor, have him go outside and use his imagination. Or god forbid you could have him read a book! TURN OFF YOUR TV.

10) Leaving the TV on when you sleep can alter your dreams! You're not only effected by it when you are awake, but when your sleeping! TV was made to program you into a subservient, tax paying slave. It was made so you don't question, and think for yourself. It was made so you wouldn't see the infinite power and intelligence you hold inside of you just waiting to get out. TURN OFF YOUR TV.

The seconds are clicking by in your life. On average most Americans watch four hours of television a day. 4 hours X 365 = 1460 hours a year. That is roughly 60 days of your life you are devoting to people who tell you what to consume into your body, what to wear, how to act, how to talk, your moral compass etc... Do you not think that the powers that be would take advantage of that?
Think of all the things you could do with that time... You could change your life.

Every negative thought is one more step to failure

It seems today so many people are expressing themselves with negative thought. If you’re not seeing someone talking about murder and mayhem on the news, then you are reading a friends post on Facebook as they say FML over a messed up cup of coffee. I have to ask myself, do these people just like to be negative energy? I have to say I don't think so. I would say that most people today don't know how to express themselves in a positive way. They don't have the tools to live a life they want, never realizing that everything they say, do, and are exposed to have a direct effect on their quality of life.

I used to be a negative person. I blamed everyone and everything for my lot in life. There wasn't a day that went by that I didn't have some sort of negative thought cross my mind. I wasn't a non-functioning totally depressed person, in fact I was highly functioning. But I wasn't happy. I was like a lot of people these days; I was asleep at the wheel. I didn't realize that I was feeding on the negativity that I saw every day and recycling it back to the people around me, creating a one legged ass kicking contest of negativity. The relationship I was in was negative, a lot of my friend's online were negative, and my coworkers were negative. I would walk around thinking why is everyone so negative, never realizing it was me creating that negativity in my surroundings. I was a totally depressed person.

Things did not turn around for me until I decided to stop listening to the negativity. I realized I could be happy. All I had to do was choose to be. Being happy is a pretty simple thing. You just choose to be happy. Just as you choose negativity in your life, you can choose positivity.  Have you ever been around a truly happy person? The energy that that person puts off makes you happy. The same is true for a person who exudes negativity. We have all been exposed to a family member, coworker, or Facebook friend’s post that is filled with negativity. How do they make you feel? Do you want to be around them for long lengths of time? I would think not. Now look at that person with all the negative thought. Are they a productive person? Are they happy? Sometimes you don't even know that person is bringing you down until you take a step back and think about what they are saying. You have to fortify yourself against these people and there thought and not be caught up in their negative energy. Remember you control what goes into your subconscious. Words and actions produce very powerful emotions. If you learn to control your own emotions, other peoples won't make a difference in your happiness.

Since I choose to be happy, I have since gotten out of the bad relationship, and moved on to a happy one. I have published a short book on Amazon (Inspiration for the struggling writer) which helps not just writers, but anyone get over fear and negative thought. My life is full of new and wonderful things because I am not bogged down with negative energy. Even when things are not going the way I planned I am still happy. Do have things in my life that are negative? Yes! But now I know how to deal with them. All I do is choose happiness

There were many resources and books I read that hit home for me. Here is a list of some of them.

Inspiration for the struggling writer: Of course I have to put my own book in the list. It is something I am proud of, and I hope it can be helpful to you.

The power of your subconscious mind: Your subconscious doesn't know what is real or not. What ever you put into it will come to pass. Put good stuff in it.

Don't sweat the small stuff: Every problem in life becomes small over time.

Unlimited power: You have a store house of power in you. Learn how to use it.
